An activation email is not sent after submitting Registration's form

Description:
When a user is successfully registered, it is expected to receive an email where they can verify their email address, but the email is not sent/received

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Navigate to http://18.156.17.83:9095/
  2. Click on Register
  3. Select I am looking for a transporter or I am transporter
  4. Fill in the Registration form with valid data - use a valid (existing) email address
  5. Tick the checkbox for the Terms of use
  6. Click on the green Register button below the form
  7. After the Welcome screen is displayed, open your mailbox
  8. Check for an activation email

Expected result:
An activation email should be received in order to activate user’s newly created account.

Actual result:
The activation email is not received and user can not activate the newly created account.
