Description:
Spelling checking is not done even if spelling error checkbox is checked

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the application
2. Uncheck the 'word suggestions' and leave the 'spelling error' checked
3. Write some words incorrectly

Expected result:
Warning or red underlining is displayed for the words with spelling mistakes

Actual result:
Warning or red underlining is not displayed for the words with spelling mistakes
