The "Spelling error " functionality is not warning when the user is writing misspelled words

Description

When the User is writing misspelled words , the application is not displaying warning and no red underlining that the user is writing with spelling mistakes.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.Open the APP
2.Uncheck "Word suggestion" button
3.Leave the "Spelling error" checked
4.Write some misspelled words
Expected Results *
When some words are misspelled ,the app should give warnings and red underlining
*Actual Results
When words are written misspelled the APP is not giving warnings or red underlining
