"Cancel" button is not canceling the sending email process

1.Navigate to Email application
2.Click on Compose new Email
3.Enter recipients title and body
4.Attach document
5.Click Cancel

Expected Result: After clicking the "Cancel" button, the applicaton should cancel the email sending process without providing any conformation message
Actual Results :After clicking the "Cancel" button, instead of canceling the email sending process, a message is displayed, stating: "Your email Is sent." and the email is saved in "Sent" box
