Bug #1555
Updated by Stefan Prculovski about 2 years ago
*Description* When we click on the three dots in the bottom left corner we should choose the "Your Profile" option and be redirected to the "Edit" field. Once we enter an invalid email, and change the current password, the changes should not be accepted, which is not the case, the changes for the new password are accepted. *Environment* MacBook Air M2 / Safari Version 17.1 / macOS Sonoma 14.1 iPhone 13 Pro Max / Safari Version 17.1 *Preconditions* 1.Navigate and log in to URL https://qainterrapt.brainster.xyz/login 2. Тhe user must have been previously created. *Steps to reproduce* 1. Click on the three dots in the bottom left corner. 2. Choose the "Your Profile" option. 3. Edit the Name field with valid alphabetic characters, spaces, "-", and "." (within the length limits) 4. Edit the Email field with an invalid Email format (Consists of invalid email prefix and domain) 5. In the "Current Password" ""Current Password"" field only enter the currently used password 6. In the "New Password" ""New Password"" field enter the new password (According to its criteria) 7. In the "Confirm New Password" field enter the new valid password 8. Confirm the new changes by clicking on the "Save/Change Password button" *Expected result* The changes should not be accepted, and the user should not be successfully edited. *Actual result* The changes are accepted even we are using invalid format for the email.
