The application consistently defaults to the laser printer option in the print dropdown menu. menu, ignoring the user's selection. Additionally, when the laser printer is unavailable, the application attempts to use the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP), but the process results in repeated error messages. *Steps to reproduce:* 1. Launch the application. 2. Navigate to the document printing feature. 3. Observe the default printer selection in the dropdown menu. 4. Select the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) as the desired printer. 5. Initiate the print command. *Expected results:* The application should respect the user's selection in the printer dropdown menu. If the laser printer is unavailable, the application should seamlessly switch to the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) *Actual results:* The application consistently defaults to the laser printer, regardless of the user's selection. When attempting to print using the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) due to the unavailability of the laser printer, the application produces repeated error messages.
