Upon attempting to cancel an email using the cancel button in the email creation software, the system sends the email despite the cancellation request.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the company's email creation software on the laptop.
2. Compose a new email with specified recipients, subject, body, and attached documents.
3. Receive a directive from the boss to hold off sending the email for 2 hours.
4. Click on the cancel button to prevent the email from being sent immediately.

Expected result:
The system should successfully cancel the email and refrain from sending it.

Actual result:
After clicking the cancel button message is shown "Your email has been sent". Same email is observed in the sent box.
