The application designed to print employee documents defaults to the Laser Printer option in the printer selection dropdown. When a print command is initiated, the application always sends the print job to the Laser Printer. If the Laser Printer is unavailable, the application attempts to switch to the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP). However, this switch is unsuccessful, resulting in repeated error messages, and the print job does not complete.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the application designed for printing employee documents
2. Observe the printer selection dropdown, which displays two options: Laser Printer and Dot Matrix Printer (DMP)
3. Without changing the default printer selection (Laser Printer), initiate a print command
4. Disable the Laser Printer to simulate its unavailability
5. Observe the application's attempt to locate and switch to the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP)
6. Notice the error messages that appear as the application fails to print using DMP

Expected Result:
When the Laser Printer is unavailable, the application should seamlessly switch to the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) and complete the print job without errors

Actual result:
