Steps to Reproduce:

1.Open the application.
2.Access the printer functionality.
3.Observe the printer selection drop-down menu, which defaults to "Laser Printer."
4.Click a print command.
5.When the laser printer is unavailable,the application tryes to switch to the "dot matrix printer" (DMP).
6.The application generates an error message,preventing successful printing.

Expected:
The application should allow users to select their desired printer option from the dropdown menu.

Actual:
The application always defaults to the "Laser Printer" option.
