Steps to reproduce:

4. Ensure DMP is connected and select the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) as the desired printer.
5. Initiate the print command.

Expected results:
If the laser printer is unavailable, the application should seamlessly switch to the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP)

Actual results:
The application consistently defaults to the laser printer, regardless of the user's selection.
When attempting to print using the Dot Matrix Printer (DMP) due to the unavailability of the laser printer, the application produces repeated error messages.
